Where should I start? What should I expect?
You just need to take that first step into our studio & onto your mat.

You don't need to preregister for any of our classes - you can simply drop in.

Whether you are a brand new beginner or seasoned yogi, truly you can participate in any of our classes. Pace yourself, practice at your level, rest when needed.
You don't need to be "flexible" or have "done yoga" before. A yoga mat is recommended, but not always needed, especially if you are practicing with us at home. Wear comfortable clothes that you would wear for a work-out.

Expect to feel empowered & uplifted & at peace when you class ends.

 

 

 

 

 



 

Sanctuary Power Flow

(heated: 90-95 degrees)

Our signature class. A vigorous flow, but definitely accessible to everyone. After a few classes, you'll start to recognize "the flow". If you've been practicing for a while, you might even find it familiar on your first visit. Make no mistake though - every class is different! And you will find yourself getting stronger, more flexible & more at ease on your mat & in your life. In these classes, like all our classes, we encourage you take your time, rest when you need to & adjust the practice so that it works for you.

 

 

Sanctuary Morning Flow

(heated: 85-90 degrees)

Much like our signature Power Flow, this class is designed to get your body & your energy moving. Only 45 minutes, this class will give you just what you need to start your day in a great way.

 


Sanctuary Flow

(heated: 85-90 degrees)
We slow down the flow in this class so you can take more time in each pose. Still challenging, these classes are accessible to everyone & will help you develop a better understanding of the flow, while building strength & flexibility. Like all our classes, there's room to challenge yourself by doing more or doing less.

 

 

 

Sanctuary Slow Flow

(no extra heat)
A slower, gentler flow. In this class we'll move slowly & gently through different poses, allowing you time to build & strengthen your foundation. Some gentle flow, some standing & balancing & stretching. As in all our classes, we encourage you take your time, rest when you need to & adjust the practice so that it works for you. This is a great class for beginners or anyone interested in slowing down.

 

 

Sanctuary Friday Flow

(heated 75-80 degrees)

The name says it all - this class is a cross between our Power & Slow Flows. Not hot (windows open), a strong practice with less flow (fewer vinyasas) & with music. Moving more slowly, allowing you time time to settle in & fine tune your postures. A great way to unwind from the week & flow into your weekend. Open to students of all levels - enjoy & get what you need from the practice.

 

 

Sanctuary Restorative Flow

(no extra heat)

Working with poses from our signature flow, this class will focus on gentle movement to allow you the time to connect to your physical body & potentially release unnecessary tension. We may use props (blocks, bolsters & blankets) for added support. Attention to both breath & body give you the tools to begin to practice presence - a quality that we can all benefit from adding to our lives. Great for beginners or anyone looking for a gentle practice. Asisists will be offered to those who are interested.

 

 

 

Sanctuary Restorative

(no extra heat)

Like taking a nap, but better. Restore, recharge & renew with this luxurious restorative class that's all about slowing down and opening your body by passively holding poses with the support of bolsters, blocks & blankets. In this class, you'll only be in a few poses & your teacher will guide you in the use of props for optimal support & comfort. A simple but powerful experience, designed to help you transition from the weekend into your week with ease - great for new & seasoned students alike.

 

 

 

Sanctuary Sunday Stretch & Flow

(no extra heat)

We'll ease into a little bit of slow & gentle flow, followed by some gentle yin-style stretching class design to target your deep connective tissue. This is a great class for beginners or anyone who wants to slow down.

 

 

Resonant Spirit Sound Bath

(no extra heat)

 

Take comfort in an extended, supported sivasana as you enjoy a relaxing Sound Bath, letting the healing Reiki sounds of bronze gongs and quartz crystal singing bowls fused with obsidian, turquoise, morganite, citrine, moldavite and blue sapphire relax and replenish you. Individual sound healing with elemental chimes, flow chimes and handheld crystal bowl is included. Perfect for beginners. Nothing for you to do but relax & restore.

Sound healing provides a sonic massage to calm your nervous system & restore your body’s natural rhythm. To maximize benefits of sound healing, hydrate well before & after.
